Key Dates for the June 2025 Outreachy Cohort

If you’re considering becoming a mentor, here are the important dates to keep in mind:

    February 26, 2025: Community sign-up deadline

  • March 7, 2025: Mentor project description deadline

  • March 10 to April 8, 2025: Contribution period

  • June 2 to August 29, 2025: Internship period

How to Get Started as a Mentor

Becoming a mentor for Outreachy is easier than you might think. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

  1. Join an Open Source Community
